Want your article featured? First, follow these five criteria:

1) Must be at least 1 page in Microsoft Word, if all text were size 12.

2) Must follow forum rules.

3) Must be comprehensive on the subject.

4) Must be neatly done, not sloppy, with immaculate spelling.

5) (Definitely optional, but it will help you alot) Have links, formulæ, and IB2 models to back it up.

If you follow all these, you have a good shot. My Encyclopedia at the top is a good example for format, and if ...

IB Engine Features

Hey, I was looking around at some IB features the other day, when I found a cool feature that could be included into Fighterlegend's physics engine.

Post your ideas below, but I just had an out of the blue idea about materials.

- I found that, objects can be grown in regular IB.

- Collectible water can be made, but only with "Admin land" or the regular land you start with in sandbox.

- What if, the physics engine included a feature, where you can make this "Admin ...

Physics article #1

Water

Since many people in IB are interested in water, I am publishing this.

Prologue

While reading the big article by DarkFangs, I stumbled upon his conversation with FighterLegend on water. At the end, they were talking about having a thruster platform that was strong enough to float, yet would not fly skyward. I thought that that would be unstable, so I was dwelling upon it when I thought of having a setup like follows:

The sides have thrust blocks encased ...

Z-Joints

Steps:

Step 1: Connect the desired shapes with the desired joint type.

Step 2: Delete the joint.

Step:3 Hold "Ctrl" and "Z", then move one of the shapes to the desired spot.

Step 4: Let go of "Ctrl" and "Z", and the then the shape.

Z-Joints, other than sliding joints, are not really there,

they're just something that signifies a connection between two shapes,

so they don't collide with anything.

When they're ...

Darkfangs' Encyclopedia Physicalæ:

Mass:

1m 15d = 15 kg

It appears from my research density in IB is based on shape.

That definitely makes my job really hard. But the above

and below figures seem accurate to describe mass/weight

of this. The weight of carbon cubed (as that is how it

would be represented in real life) at one meter is 134

liberas (pounds), whislt the square of 15 (therfore

reversing the 3d into 2d) is 225, yet removing the idea

of specific gravity ...
